Different data values between Strava and MioShare

Strava and MioShare use different methods of analysing recorded data, while MioShare will be more accurate using .GPX files, Strava prefers .FIT files. When synchronising your recordings with MioShare a .gpx file is uploaded and the same .gpx will be synchronised with Strava. On some occasions there might be differences between to the stats showing on MioShare. To rectify different readings shown by Strava follow the steps below.

  • Connect your Cyclo to the PC.
  • Open Mio_Data > Dodge > Tracks > *Profile*  folder.
  • Find the .fit file of the recording you wish to upload to Strava correctly.
  • Copy the file to your PC.
  • Open >  Login > Select the + in top right corner > Upload activity > File > Browse.
  • Select the .fit file on your PC and upload.
Note: To be able to download fit files from your device the CycloAgent synchronisation settings need to be set to keep recordings on the device, when synchronising with MioShare. Go to CycloAgent > Settings select> All uploaded history will be kept on my device.
